Our Safety Standards

As parents we care about what is in the products used for our little ones. However it is impossible to keep track of and understand every single process and chemicals used in the production of every items we purchase. Frightening terms like “forever chemicals” and “heavy metals” make us worry about the potential harm the toxins could cause.

In a world where most of us truly have no idea what is in the products that we use every single day, the existence of third-party certifications, like OEKO-TEX®, is what we choose to ensure every fabric we use is safe for children.

Established in 1992, the International OEKO-TEX® Association operates in over 40 countries, testing companies’ products against stringent criteria to make sure that they are safe for humans and the environment. OEKO-TEX®STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances.  It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STARDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.

Every thread, button and accessory have been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances.
